AlgoBreak is a Chrome extension that randomizes playback on YouTube Music, YouTube, YouTube Shorts, Spotify, Apple Music, iHeartRadio, and Pandora. This policy describes what the extension and this website do with data.
What the extension stores
Settings (keep shuffling, songs only, avoid recent artists, deeper cuts), a
local list of recent rolls (title, artist, country, search seed, time), trial
play count, and — if you buy — a license flag and key are saved in Chrome’s
storage.local on your computer. The recent-roll list stays on your
machine. We do not operate a backend that receives your listening history.
What the extension sends
To pick a track, the extension sends search requests to the player tab you have open (YouTube Music, YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, iHeartRadio, or Pandora) using your existing browser session. Those companies’ terms and privacy policies apply to those requests.
To start checkout or check a license key, the extension talks to
https://algobreak.app. That request can include a Stripe checkout
session id or the license key you paste. It does not include your listening
history.
Payments
Paid unlocks go through Stripe. Stripe processes your card and email under Stripe’s privacy policy. We receive payment status and enough information to issue a lifetime license key. We do not store full card numbers.
Permissions
The extension asks for access to the supported player sites so it can search
and change the current track, algobreak.app so it can start checkout
and verify a key, and storage so settings survive a restart. It does
not read your other tabs.
This website
If the site is served through Cloudflare Pages, Cloudflare may process connection data (such as IP address) as described in Cloudflare’s privacy policy. We do not embed advertising or third-party analytics scripts on these pages.
